For over 130 years, The Rickhouse™ weathered changing times, hosting multiple companies and brands that contributed to its enduring legacy. At the heart of The Anderson-Nelson Distillery Rickhouse lies its exceptional wooden framework. Built from vintage Longleaf Heart Pine, this now rare and protected species of wood embodies centuries of growth. With some beams having as much as 55 growth rings per inch, these trees are believed to have started growing around the 1200s to 1300s, their density, durability, and unique character telling a story only nature can articulate.
